Dr. Kirsten Pai Buick is a professor of art history and the chair of the Africana Studies Department at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Buick is a leading scholar on American landscape paintings and her research explores how and what audiences are taught to see when viewing these images.
This free event is in conjunction with the PBS documentary, The American Buffalo. Food will be provided.
