Africana Studies contributes to CNM Brown Bag Lecture Series for Black History Month

Africana Studies professors have been the invited guests at Central New Mexico's Brown Bag Lecture Series for Black History Month.
Dr. Charles E. Becknell, Jr., spoke as the inaugural speaker on February 22, 2012 on the topic, Carrying Lanterns in Daylight; The Dilemma of Black Women Intellectuals.
Prof. Sonia Rankin will serve as the concluding guest lecturer on February 29, 2012 on the topic,Where Would Black America Be Without the Help: Black Domestic Workers in America.
